 About Bergamo - In Northern Italy a precious medieval town called "Città Alta" lies on a hill, enclosed by Walls built during 400 hundred years of Venetian domination. Four gateways and 2 different cable railways offer the visitors the opportunity to discover 2,000 years of history and culture. And there is also the modern part of Bergamo called "Città Bassa" with theatres, museums, hotels, restaurants and plenty of shops.
